Cookie Notice
Effective 18 August 2026
This notice describes the cookies and similar storage this website uses, and how you control them. Google Tag Manager does not load, and no Google measurement cookie is set, until you allow it.
1. What we mean by cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use session storage in the browser, which is not a cookie but is similar in effect, so we describe it here.
Strictly necessary storage does not require consent. Analytics and marketing storage require your consent under the ePrivacy rules and, where it produces personal data, under the GDPR.
2. How we ask
On your first visit we show a banner. Nothing from Google Tag Manager (GTM-PFXS3LG6) or Google Analytics (G-1DSFTLPZ8P) runs until you choose Allow all, save a custom choice that includes analytics or marketing, or later change that choice.
If you choose Necessary only, the site still works. Forms still send. We simply do not measure the visit with Google.
Your choice is stored for 180 days. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing analytics or marketing consent unloads those tags on the next page load.
3. Necessary
Always on. Used to operate the site and to honour your instructions.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| phronexus_consent | Phronexus | Stores whether you allowed analytics and marketing. | 6 months | First-party cookie |
| phronexus.consent.v1 | Phronexus | Same choice, in local storage, so the banner does not reappear incorrectly. | 6 months | Local storage |
| phronex.attribution | Phronexus | First-touch campaign and landing page, used only if you later submit a form. | Session | Session storage |
| Cal.com embed | Cal.com | Loaded only on booking pages so you can pick a time. May set cookies on cal.com to complete the booking. | Session / as set by Cal.com | Third-party (cal.com) |
4. Analytics — only if you allow it
Used to see which pages are read, which calls to action are used, and whether a visit becomes a demo or contact request. IP anonymisation is requested in our Analytics configuration.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes visitors for Google Analytics 4. | Up to 13 months | First-party cookie | |
| _ga_* | Persists the GA4 session and campaign information. | Up to 13 months | First-party cookie |
Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited receive this data. See Google’s privacy policy and Google’s business privacy site.
5. Marketing — only if you allow it
Conversion and advertising tags are loaded through Google Tag Manager, not hard-coded on the page. They are used to measure paid campaigns (for example, that a contact form was sent after an ad click) and, if configured, to build remarketing audiences.
Typical Google advertising cookies, if the corresponding tag is enabled in the container, include:
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Conversion linker used by Google Ads. | 90 days | First-party cookie | |
| IDE / other Google Ads cookies | May be set by Google advertising tags for conversion and ads measurement. | Up to 13 months | Third-party cookie |
If we add another advertising tag to Tag Manager (for example LinkedIn or Meta), it will still be blocked until you allow marketing, and we will update this notice. Until then, those pixels are not on this site.
6. Google Tag Manager
Tag Manager is a loader. By itself it is not analytics. We still treat it as non-essential because, once it runs, it can set Google cookies and fire every tag in the container. That is why it is blocked until you consent to analytics, marketing, or both.
After you allow it, Google Consent Mode is updated so that analytics tags and advertising tags only use storage in line with what you chose. Tags in the container should be configured with those consent checks.
7. Other controls
- Use Cookie settings in the footer of this site. That is the primary control.
- Block cookies in your browser. Blocking all cookies may affect forms or preference storage.
- Google Analytics opt-out: Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Google ad settings: adssettings.google.com.
